IB PYP Years 3-4 Science
PYP🌐 IB PYP Years 3–4 (Ages 8–9):Moves toward more formal scientific method while maintaining inquiry-based approach.
Developing investigation skills and scientific concepts across biology, chemistry and physics.

IB PYP Years 5-6 Science
PYP🌐 IB PYP Years 5–6 (Ages 10–11):Strong preparation for MYP Sciences. PYP Exhibition often includes scientific inquiry.
Consolidating scientific understanding in preparation for MYP Sciences.

IB MYP Years 1-3 Science
MYP🌐 IB MYP Years 1–3 (Ages 11–14):Integrated Sciences. Four assessment criteria: knowing, inquiring/designing, processing, reflecting on impacts.
Integrated MYP Sciences — biology, chemistry, physics taught as interconnected disciplines.

IB DP Y12 Biology Science
DP🌐 IB DP Biology Year 12 (Age 16–17):SL (150 hours) or HL (240 hours). 10 core topics + HL extensions. IA (Individual Investigation). Options (Neurobiology, Biotechnology, Ecology, Human Physiology).
IB DP Biology — molecular biology, cells, ecology and genetics at SL or HL.
- Cells: structure, transport, division
- Molecular biology: DNA, enzymes, metabolism
- Genetics and evolution
- Ecology and biodiversity
- HL additional topics: nucleic acids, metabolism, plant biology, animal physiology

IB DP Y12 Chemistry Science
DP🌐 IB DP Chemistry Year 12 (Age 16–17):SL or HL. 11 core topics + HL extensions. Strong mathematical component. IA (Individual Investigation). Options: Materials, Biochemistry, Energy, Medicinal Chemistry.
IB DP Chemistry — stoichiometry, bonding, equilibria and organic chemistry at SL or HL.

DP🌐 IB DP Physics Year 12 (Age 16–17):SL or HL. 8 core topics + HL extensions. Heavy mathematical content. IA (Individual Investigation). Options: Relativity, Engineering, Imaging, Astrophysics.
IB DP Physics — mechanics, thermal physics, waves and electromagnetism at SL or HL.
- Measurement and uncertainties
- Mechanics: kinematics, dynamics, momentum

DP🌐 IB DP Biology Year 13 (Age 17–18):Final IB exams. IA (Individual Investigation, 10-hour write-up, 20%). Paper 1 (20%), Paper 2 (40% SL / 36% HL), Paper 3 (20% SL / 24% HL).
Final IB DP Biology year — completing Internal Assessment and preparing for external papers.
